Alicia Assad is a writer whose work explores Mary Magdalene and the sacred feminine through the lens of resilience, motherhood, and faith. A former Miss New Jersey and Radio City Rockette, she holds a Master of Applied Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Arts Administration with a minor in Dance from Wagner College. Her writing is shaped by a devoted spiritual practice and deep training in wellbeing and healing traditions. She is the editor of A Book of Love: 101 Messages from God, and Fishing on the Right Side of the Boat: Stories, Symbols & the History of Mary Magdalene is her first book. Alicia lives in Bedford, New York, with her husband, five children, and their rescue animals.
